Episode 15: I am Number Four, and So’s My Companion

Unfortunately we’re at the end of our convention recordings, but we’re finishing up with a two-for-one as a Doctor and his Companion take the stage. Again, huge props to Brian and Eamonn for doing these recordings, though they probably didn’t mind so much.

Hopefully the next episode will be coming down the pipe soon, but in the meantime, we’d love to hear your feedback! Please send an email or MP3 comment to Type40Podcast@gmail.com or call in to 970-4DW-1963, and until the next episode, stay tuned…

Episode 14: Six and Out

The third in our series of convention recording, brought to you by Brian and Eamonn, is with one of the franchise’s more controversial people, though Rassilon knows why because he’s pretty awesome.

Stay tuned for more convention goodies, but in the meantime, we’d love to hear your feedback! Please send an email or MP3 comment to Type40Podcast@gmail.com or call in to 970-4DW-1963, and until the next episode, stay tuned…

Episode 13: It’s Not the Years, Honey, It’s the Myleage

Huzzah! It’s the second in our series of convention recording, brought to you by Brian and Eamonn, with a woman who’s dipped her toe in two continents and two series.

Stay tuned for more convention goodies, but in the meantime, we’d love to hear your feedback! Please send an email or MP3 comment to Type40Podcast@gmail.com or call in to 970-4DW-1963, and until the next episode, stay tuned…

Episode 12: Seventh Heaven

Long delayed and hotly anticipated, here’s the first in our series of convention recordings from the UK, procured my Brian and Eamonn and with a voice you may have heard on the podcast before.

Stay tuned for more convention goodies, but in the meantime, we’d love to hear your feedback! Please send an email or MP3 comment to Type40Podcast@gmail.com or call in to 970-4DW-1963, and until the next episode, stay tuned…

Episode 11: Type 40 Confidential

The Type 40 Podcast has returned, and this time it’s with a convention report! Our very own Brian has been in the UK along with his British Invaders companion, Eamonn, and together they’ve assembled a wealth of Doctor Who stories and goodies to share with you – and with Brad, who sits in on the geekery. If this doesn’t make you want to visit the United Kingdom, nothing will. Our next few episodes will be featuring some even MORE special goodies from the convention, but in the meantime, we’d love to hear your feedback! Please send an email or MP3 comment to Type40Podcast@gmail.com or call in to 970-4DW-1963, and until the next episode, stay tuned…

Episode 10: A Very Type 40 Christmas in 3D

Guess Who’s back? With a belated Christmas episode, the Type 40 Podcast has returned to grace the podosphere with a new episode. Brad, Brian, Bronzethumb and Jenn talk about the latest Doctor Who Christmas special, “The Doctor, the Widow and the Wardrobe”, as well as recent developments from Big Finish and other fun, geeky topics. It’s a good time, and we hope you enjoy.

Not sure what’s coming down the pipe for Type 40, but we want to hear your feedback, so please send an email or MP3 comment to Type40Podcast@gmail.com or call in to 970-4DW-1963. And until the next time, stay tuned…

Episode 8: With Fake Wigs and Perfect Shoes

After a technologically-induced hiatus, the Type 40 Podcast is back! Brian, Brad, Matthew and newcomer Eammon (of British Invaders fame) finally get the chance to wax lyrical about the second half of series 6: favourite episodes, what they were less fond of, and what might be coming in the future for our favourite Time Lord.

The next episode will have a few more of the crew giving THEIR thoughts on the back half of series 6 – hopefully. There have been some technical hiccups. But whatever’s next for Type 40, we still wanna hear your feedback, so please send an email or MP3 comment to Type40Podcast@gmail.com or call in to 970-4DW-1963. And until the next time, stay tuned…

Type 40 Presents: The GeekCulture Network – Dragon*Con 2011 In Review

The following is a special presentation of The GeekCulture Network featuring:
Brad, Brian, Bronzethumb, Edmund, and Ray. (with a special guest appearance by Kevin Bachelder)

With a mixed gang of con newbies and seasoned veterans, crew from the various GeekCulture Network shows get together via Skype to share and review their experiences of Dragon*Con 2011.

Episode 7: A Dance With Dragon*Con

Live from Hotlanta – it’s the Type 40 Podcast!
The crew recorded an episode in the Podcasting Track’s room at the Sexy New Time of 11:30pm on Sunday, with an audience of fantastic fans and a list of talking points so sketchy that they might’ve been drawn by that little girl from “Fear Her”. Brad, Brian, Bronzethumb, Ray, special guest Bobby (from The Bobby Blackwolf Show) and various members of the audience weigh in on “Let’s Kill Hitler” and the enormous Doctor Who presence at Dragon*Con 2011. Some very special thinks goes to the wonderful Swoopy, of the Skepticality podcast, for running the Podcasting Track and making sure that the Type 40 Podcast, along with dozens of others, got their moment in the sun at this year’s convention.

Rassilon only knows what the crew will be talking about next time, but if you’d like to weigh in on this episode, previous ones or anything you think the crew might be interested in hearing about, feel free to send an email or MP3 comment to Type40Podcast@gmail.com or call in to 970-4DW-1963. And until the next time, stay tuned…

Episode 6: The Real McCoy

This week, it’s a very special episode of the Type 40 Podcast, and the first of our Dragon*Con double feature. The regular crew don’t feature at all in this recording: instead, we’re bringing you not one, but TWO entire panels of Sylvester McCoy, the Seventh Doctor himself, holding court in front of thousands of devoted fans. Sylvester is an incredible entertainer, very funny, and he pulls out more than a few surprises as he fields questions and talks about his history in show business, Doctor Who, King Lear and The Hobbit.

The next episode to come down the feed will be the much-hyped and very fun live show that the crew recorded in the Podcasting Track room on Sunday night at Dragon*Con. If you’d like to weigh in on the Type 40 Podcast, feel free to send an email or MP3 comment to Type40Podcast@gmail.com or call in to 970-4DW-1963. And until the next time, stay tuned…
